The IT Manager at Peak Capital was dealing with significant issues regarding their WordPress website after the developer who created it left the company.
She was unable to update the company website built on WordPress, and the contact form was broken, making it impossible to receive emails from leads.
We opted for a straightforward solution: rebuilding the entire website on Wix and transferring the current domain name under it.
A Website that doesn't work
The previous website was a chaotic mix across 3 platforms: WordPress.org, Cloudflare, and Domain.com, and the contact form was broken.
Creation of a copycat
I recreated the entire website on Wix just as it was, allowing the team to easily make modifications.
No pictures
The biggest challenge was recovering every aspect of the website design, as there were no files or guidelines available. I had to navigate through cPanel to retrieve images, colors, and fonts.
Finalising the website
The website was online in a month, we made some improvements on the contact form and team page but it's 90% like it was with an easier interface and a single platform to manage it.
